OVERVIEW
Designed a beginner-friendly matcha tea set to complement One Organic's existing matcha tea powder. The kit featuring all the essential tools to easily prepare traditional matcha or an everyday latte.

INSPIRATION
In Japanese culture, traditional patterns are symbolic in textiles and ceramics. It is even used in modern packaging on omiyage. I observed watercolor textures, loose illustration style and clean packaging design.
ITERATION AND FEEDBACK
After a few iteration drafts, I asked the marketing and product team for feedback. They got back to me with a unanimous response about leaning on the Japanese elements like the cherry blossoms and light muted colors.
